Vestia is a Jaquin and twin sister of Cruz. She helped her brother out of prison, therefore becoming a fugitive herself and joined Shuriki's group in her campaign to takeover the kingdom of Avalor from Princess Elena. This led to a showdown between the two women, with Shuriki seemingly being killed by Elena's Scepter of Light. Cruz and Vestia were left working with Victor and Carla Delgado, but Victor's mistreatment of Cruz, referring to him as a "beast", instead of his name, caused Cruz and Vestia to ditch them.
Having been outcasts for long enough from their home realm of Vallestrella, they secretly got back in and decided that they would get back in King Verago's good graces by saving Vallestrella, by releasing the wild Anchimon, which they inevitably could not control and almost caused a realm-wide fire. They were able to help stop it, though, and therefore exonerated of their crimes.
