Rafa de Alva is the daughter of Alacazar and the mother of Mateo de Alva.
History[]
Early life[]
Rafa was born to Alacazar and an unidentified woman.
Before her father fled Avalor during Shuriki's invasion in order to find a princess that could free Princess Elena from the Amulet of Avalor, Alacazar told Rafa the spell that could free Princess Isabel, Francisco Flores, and Luisa Flores from the enchanted painting he had placed them in to protect them from Shuriki. [1]
At some point, Rafa had her son Mateo de Alva with an unidentified man.
Rafa forbade Mateo from entering his grandfather's workshop in the basement of their home as Shuriki had outlawed magic in the kingdom and she feared for his safety. However, Mateo frequently spent time in the workshop against her wishes, which she was aware of.[1]
