Norberg is a kingdom in the EverRealm ruled by Queen Abigail.[1]
Geography[]
It is unknown if travelling between Avalor and Norberg by land is possible, as many people preferred to travel by boat. Even then, the two kingdoms were said to be a considerable distance away.
Hectoria is said to be a neighboring kingdom of Norberg.[2]
Gibbspeake Island was an island near the city of the royal palace.[2]
History[]
Norberg is ruled by a royal family. Its current ruler is Queen Abigail, whose daughter is Princess Chloe.
It was said that when Norberg was settled, its new residents survived off of mulberries for the entire first year.[2]
Norberg seems to have a history of good relations with Avalor, as Norberg native Daniel Turner was trusted as Avalor City's harbormaster and sailors associated with Norberg frequented Avalor often.[3] Additionally, Naomi Turner, who had emigrated to Avalor as a young child, was selected by Princess Elena as a member of the Avaloran Royal Council.[4][3] Representatives from Norberg also attended Avalor's Feast of Friendships, including Ambassador Nathaniel and Queen Abigail.[5][6]
Culture[]
Norberg's flag.
Men's hairstyles varied from white powered hair (possibly wigs) to growing their hair to a length that it could be put up into a ponytail, as seen with Daniel Turner, Ambassador Nathaniel, and Queen Abigail's coachmen.[3][5][1].
Family Day was widely celebrated by the Norbergians. A common tradition for this holiday was the Mulberry Mash, where mulberries would be made into various recipes such as mulberry juice.[2]
Naomi Turner celebrated Christmas with her father and her father's sailors, which suggests that Christmas is at least more prominently celebrated in Norberg than in Avalor.[7]
